A short sculptural pedestal in solid Douglas fir, finished with the traditional shou sugi ban charring technique. Deep grooves and a burnished, charred texture give it raw, quiet power.
Use it to raise vessels, sculpture or art, letting material and form take center stage. The surface keeps evolving as the wood settles.
