At Japandi Supply House, we encourage thoughtful purchasing. Every piece is carefully sourced from makers around the world and shipped with intention. Returns require additional transportation, packaging, and handling, increasing environmental impact for a single item.
We encourage reviewing dimensions, materials, finishes, and product details before placing your order. If you have any questions before purchasing, we're always happy to help.
Return Eligibility
Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return, items must:

Be unused, unwashed (where applicable), unassembled (where applicable), and in original condition.

Include all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and inserts.

Be suitable for resale.
Approved returns must be shipped within the timeframe provided in your return instructions.
Items that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for a refund.
How to Start a Return

We'll review your request and provide the appropriate return instructions based on the manufacturer's or supplier's return process.
Please do not send items back without receiving return instructions from our team.
Return Shipping
Unless a return is the result of our error or a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, customers are responsible for any applicable return shipping costs.
Some of our supplier partners provide prepaid return shipping labels, while others require customers to arrange return shipping directly. If a prepaid return shipping label is provided, the cost of the return shipping may be deducted from your refund where applicable.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, eligible refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5β10 business days.
Depending on your financial institution, it may take several additional business days for the refund to appear after it has been processed.
Refunds are issued only for items that meet the eligibility requirements outlined above.

All furniture and furniture accessories are FINAL SALE, unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Tatami mats are FINAL SALE due to custom packaging and hygiene considerations.

Lighting
Lighting products may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they meet the return eligibility requirements above.
Customers are responsible for any applicable return shipping costs.
Home Goods
Most kitchenware, organization, dΓ©cor, bedding, wellness, textiles, pet products, and other eligible non-furniture items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they meet the return eligibility requirements above.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact orders@shopjapandi.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Clear photo(s) of the shipping box and all packaging, including any visible shipping labels or shipping damage
We'll work with you and the manufacturer to review the issue and provide the most appropriate resolution as quickly as possible.

International Orders
At this time, all international orders are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Exchanges
Exchanges are available for eligible items when inventory permits.
To request an exchange, please email orders@shopjapandi.com with your order number, the item you wish to exchange, and the item you'd like instead.
In most cases, the original item must be returned and inspected before a replacement item is shipped.
Furniture and other Final Sale items are not eligible for exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
