The Aztec Calendar Tapestry is part of the "Recovered" Collection, a collection of decorative pieces based on the principles of recovering, assembling and transforming.
Caralarga recovers, classify and stores the remnants of the cotton thread used in the production of our Large Format pieces for eventual reuse. They transform raw materials that would be discarded under “normal” production circumstances, giving them an opportunity to give life to decorative pieces destined to inhabit our interior spaces.
