"In every object so far, I try to provide a different approach by examining all previous examples and questioning their accepted practices and usages to capture a simple starting point for design. I then apply a form from the endless permutations possible in geometry...

While I do this, important criteria regarding the correct relation of users to the product are formed in the effort to provide new ways of usage without alienating users. In general I try to ensure that products are contemporary, modern, and ageless, and that they bridge the time when they were designed and the present, hoping the impact of their design and creation can be preserved for long periods."

Atilla Kuzu

Atilla Kuzu established ZOOM TPU in 1994, and was involved in boutique and large store design. He was awarded at IFDA in both 1999 and 2002, and he and his partners at ZOOM TPU received the Turkish Design・Interior Design Award for their work on the Acibadem General Hospital project in 2005. He debuted the ATILLA collection at IMM Cologne in 2010, and is currently involved in furniture design projects for large-scale stores and general hospitals.
